Fuck YEAH, Steve!. The way I see it is that collector decks are even MORE RARE if they show signs that someone actually SKATED THEM.

My only concern about this is that I know from experience that you have to fit those Big Ugly rails further in to the centre of the deck because of the concave to protect the graphic, otherwise you can still skuff the middle!!

Worn decks tell a story ... you can just imagine where they've been. Mint decks say, "I've been in a box". (and yes, they do fetch more money)

I just like the fact that any of Wes' works of art can be ridden.

Would this be considered performance art?

I personally love skated completes... as for things not being used for their purpose... it doesnt always carry through to everything.  Id rather our ICBM's stay right where they are at.  But then again, were they built to go off?  Or just for a deterrent?  Some boards were meant to be hung... or I think BDS wouldnt have offered the Head Hunter set with a rider.  Im torn... I love the look of several quivers here that are rooms full of planks... then I see a shot of someone ripping their signed and numbered 'whatever' and thats totally cool too!
