Insane surf on Saturday thanks to Hurricane Gonzalo!

I caught overhead/offshore conditions on Saturday at Assateague Island in MD.  Logged 2.5 hours in trunks and a vest before I got cold.   I caught a wave just like this one prior to snapping this pic on my phone a few minutes later.  This is probably the best I've seen at AI.

Sick!!! We've had a real good Fall over here too. Hurricane's, Southern Hemi's, windswells, NW's, some excellent days mixed in.

Awesome conditions- nice to have an October day like that in baggies?
Going to Maui next week for 15 days. Big south shore fall season, surfer bit by 12-14' tiger at Maalea Harbor 2 days ago....

I hate having to suit up, so it was pure bonus.  Have fun, stay away from those Tigers.  [eek]

Funny thing is that the guys were warned before they went out that there was a tiger in the area, so here's another shark incident that will be classified as 'provoked', so won't be published as a 'shark attack'. Ho'okipa is always spooky because of all the turtles there, which are a tiger delicasy.
