Thanks!    I'll have to give Friskit a try.

The trucks on the Jay Smith are Surf-Rods TKP Grinds.

Indy 215's with Bones yellow bushings and 1/2" risers and 1/16" shock pads, Rainskates Mid Tsunamis 85a 62mm with Bones Reds bearings.

The wheel wells are at least an inch out of place, I hadn't planned on putting any risers on other than a 1/16" rubber shock pad but I had to put 1/2 risers as well just to stop the wheel bite.

A bit late to the party on this one but finally got it set up. Sims Pure Juice, 5.85 Theeves, re-drilled 18" wheelbase,  1 1/4" off of the nose and re-worked wheel wells.

Thanks Wes. [thumb]

Yes and yes. I'd rather have no wheel wells at all than misplaced ones that are just useless decoration. And, holy crap, the Q12 already is a big chunk of wood, but the proto Beamer really is a JUMBO, only surpassed by the gigantic Madrid El Cochino.

Collectively Wes and Jim have how many year of skate design and manufacturing do these guys have, how many of you would be cool with snapped boards or getting worked because of it? How much of your skating  was actually ruined because of the wheel well placement. Their are plenty of 9/ 9.5 boards out there to appease people there is nothing wrong with that either. I was always told to let the shaper shape and the rider ride.[biggrin]

Things finally settled down and I was able to get this together. Damn rain is preventing a test run though. Indy's, JuJu's, cut Pig rails. Thanks Frank for the die-cut grip. Support Strange-house.net guys, he never fails you! I used a different foil tape than the fish-eye and it has a cool look.

Same as all the rest really. 215's, Skull Wave Ju-Ju, Pig rails and Pig 1/8 risers. Stock orange Indy bushings. Bones Swiss stolen from another board. Ceramics en route. Considered cutting the rails down to fit on the outer edge but opted to bring them in a little to encourage more solid rail grabs when carving my frontsides. Maiden voyage tonight, I'll see if I can wear in these Ju-Ju enough for some tile work.
