you missed the point friend.  GG Allin never won an Academy Award.  There's an article in Wire that recently stated US hardcore is slipping away from collective memory.  We skaters will remember, but who else?  Hip hop is mainstream, and people don't get it, and black kids live it, and it's not originally for everyone.
"Sippin on some sizzurp" is as american as "born in the usa."
What's the status quo?  Molyneux lost track towards the end, but it definitely proved Zimmermann was a champion of anyone in need, in this case the black residents in his community.  I guess I failed to mention I grew up listening to Mobb Deep and Three 6 Mafia, and enjoy the music immensly, but their content can make teenagers do stupid shit.

it's not the two idiots in the night, it's the national dialogue it sparked.

...also perpetuated by idiots...
As far as academy awards go... How many of those do you actually remember? Or any awards for that matter... No one will care 20 years from now... No one will even remember 20 minutes after the ceremony. But those goddamm kids will still be looking for ways to piss off their parents... Probably with classical music... LOL.

like skating is an addiction (Gonz's words not mine), youth culture can be misleading.  So the kid could've been acting out like a thug, which in those conditions made Zimmermann as much a victim as a perp.  Living in the 'burbs here outside Dallas, if you skate outside the park, you might as well be wearing a hoody at night in Florida.  Thank god for skateparks, and on a sadder note, lets not forget this Chicago statistic:

here's a little tune to accompany the drug/geniuse post:

after listening to this I sagged my pants, took off my wheels, rode my bearings, and did kickflips for 19 hours straight
who said the 90's were boring?

on a more serious note, I believe Watson and Crick's proof of the double helix shape was owed to Rosalind Franklin's x-ray of DNA.  She died of cancer prior to them receiving the nobel prize, on account of her exposure to radiation from the research to produce said x-ray.  This matter was only brought to light several years ago.

(sorry, couldn't resist....)

so this new method adds a negative ion to water like rock salt lamps add it to air to improve quality?
lightning supposedly ionizes air and water, (or is a result of), making it a natural fertilizer, wonder if this is the premise to this technology.  Large scale electrolysis, correct?  My Newtonian physics is a bit rusty... so I guess you don't need to talk to your plants anymore, you just buy'em a bluetooth
