Dude was really derogatory to me and my kids at the Berkeley skatepark once. Had no idea who he was at the time. Just shitty to me because I was all padded up and calling me an old man or something for no reason. From the looks of this article, he was older than me.

I realize no one's perfect but i have a hard time forgetting when someone's shitty to me for no reason whatsoever.

No love here unfortunately.

Me and Jon Zant met and talked to him in Hammond, La. one time when the Skate Rock tour rolled through. He was down to earth and very funny, we talked for about 10 minutes. He didn't seem give a shit that we were in pads and he skated with us for a bit. I guess its hard to get a true take on someone from one meeting. Condolences to his family and friends.

I know he loved and did much for skateboarding.
