The recent Ozzy's Blue Tile article on Skyline really got me fired up on legendary skate spots, one of my time-wasting hobbies is trying to find some of these spots on google maps.  Yeah, I found Baldy, Vermont Drop, Bronson ditch, etc.  Even found that secret giant pipe in Texas that Tex Gibson rode on the cover of Thrasher so many years ago.  Found many a local ditch for current use as well. And I found Skyline pretty easily too, once I thought about it.

But the legendary Toilet Bowl has been elusive, until just now, when a comment on Ozzy's story led me in the right direction.   Soooo....google 10721 Wrightwood Lane los angeles and there it is, speed-bumped all to hell, but DAYUMM!! is that a big crazy ditch!

I remember pics of it in Skateboarder magazine (would love to see those again, hint hint) and have found what I believe to be video footage of it (starting at 3:20):

(also, the Vermont Drop is in the first part of this vid)

Did any of you guys ever skate the TB?  Anybody have any pics of it?

That last vid is really cool. I mean, most of us love riding bowls/pools, but riding a nice long ditch or a bank, preferably with high and smooth concrete walls, comes closest to what is referred to as "concrete surfing" in my opinion. Too bad there are hardly any US style ditches over here in Germany. Same with swimming pools. People over here love them square and edged, thus useless for a skateboarder. Years ago I had the opportunity to ride a nice US style pool in a mansion district of the city I grew up at. Unfortunately there was a change of the owner shortly afterwards and the pool has been leveled. Too cut a long story short, you US guys are blessed with well shaped swimming pools and ditches everywhere. Enjoy...
