That thing is way cool.  Nice score.  Always wondered about these.  Let us know how it rides, if you survive the first try.

I was alway fascinated with the Wheelie Board too.  A total piece of junk, but a piece of 70s nostalgia I'll never forget.

Thought it was interesting because it's not a Hobie ad...
I'm guessing this is from the year after the product bombed w/Hobie and the Solo Systems people (whoever they were) were faced w/a warehouse of these babies...hence the "New low price"

seen a few near deaths at the local skateparks with kids riding those squiggle sticks in the bowls.......... besides there are no axles to grind ,,,, whats the point?

Those waveboards are sketchy as hell when they lose traction they lose all stability. I like to ride them occasionaly but nowhere near the frequency that I ride my skateboard. I've tried to ride it across town but the vibrations are way to gnarly to handle for more than 5 minutes on rough pavement
