[frown][frown]  Office is a total loss.  We moved the Business to a larger location 2 years ago and I have been renting out the main level of the building to a Safety company.  My new office is much smaller than my old one so I pretty much just locked the door to my old office and left it as it was.  I would go back every once and a while to admire my boards. A week and a half ago I went into my office and before turning on the light I smelled a damp odor.   Flip on the lights and DAMNNNN!!!

the empty apartment I have above the office not only had a faucet spring a leak, but the roof decided to leak also.  It will have to be gutted.  on the bright side all of the boards stayed dry.  one casualty that makes me sick is this framed southside cross poster.

Kind of sucks, but glad the decks survived unscathed.  It's a youtube kind of day:

Had the adjuster in today. We will see.  All three levels on the west side of the building are toast.

Get those decks out of the wet environment just in case. At least the decks didn’t get damaged. I’m a claims assessor (opposite side of things to the loss adjuster). If you need some advice pm me.
