Figured I'd kick off a new topic in the surf thread for the daily riders quiver shot.
No surf today and looking a lot like summer plus light rain so no skating either so I layed the boards out in the front yard and snapped a shot of the latest quiver I shaped for winter 09/10 use.

From left my four 1-4' surf quads for racy roundhouses and boosting little punts all basically clone variants of a four fin design I perfected in sept 2001. That was pre stretch and Rawson four fin revival and I couldn't even get anyone to try 'em back then. Still the fastest most thruster like quads I have ridden so I have a small herd of 'em with slight variations in thickness and fin angles. All 5'10" by 20" by 2 1/4 to 2 3/4"

The rasta tail patch board is a 6'3" by 18 1/2" by 2 3/8" for good 3'-5' surf. I cloned a chilli I got from Nathan Hedge and tuned the fin set up and made it an eighth thicker. A little hard to paddle but surfs so good.

Next is a 6'7"x 18 3/4" by 2 1/2-" I took the rocker and template off of a board of Dane Reynolds that I really liked and tuned the concaves a bit deeper with less of a double barrel to it and 1/32" more single concave between the side fins. Pushed the side fins back about 1/8" from the Merrick layout and voila, magic in the 6-8' surf range.

Bigger than that I take the yellow 5'10" and the yamaha and fag surf the outer reefies with the other washed up old has beens. Towing is honestly so gay that germans who can't swim win the xxl but what the fuck, I'm old and it's fun as hell.

In the back is an old super magic 10'7" that I shaped for my dad. He buckled it at Makaha last year so I repoed it, patched it and ride it in the evenings before dinner.

The red one is my father in laws morning paddler shaped by some dick named brewer. For a new Brewer it's a good one so I steal it pretty often for small wave "peak to the sand" surfing.

Way off right is a 10'0" by 34" hand shape stand up I take my three year old daughter out on. Probably the most important of the daily riders.

Not featured: 60-70 others.

You wouldn't believe the brewers I have stashed away for my daughters college fund. Some day I will pull something out of the vaults and snap a shot or two.

some days I do.  Two fun lefts straight out the front and a right about seventy five yards stage right.

All that water does make it hard to hitch a ride to the west coast jam though. Can't have everything.

Ultra low tide and small and glassy this am and the morning selection was between three quiggs and a brewer. All Quiggs of the 11'0" javelin variety, one Joe, two Gordon

Good fun racing little spinners down the reef

Killer, say hello to Gordon for me.

Can you mention that my son can now ride the board he shaped for him before he was born.

Here he is last summer on his 4'7" Quigg thruster

The red mini gun Dick Brewer, the Natural Art and the MR are OG.
The blue Dano and red Bertleman Takayama are "new".
