Yeah, there was a time when Natural Art was one of the most popular surfboards on the East Coast. Had a 6'3" that I took to PR that rode like a dream. Don't remember what happened to it ?

I only brought 2 boards here when we moved over a few years ago and left my others at a friends house.

a 6'2" Rex and a 6'6" Downing, got a new 6'2" Downing on the way that I've been saving up for over the last couple years, got an email from Keone last week that it's at the glassers now.

Have experienced some nasty shit last winter in Denmark, when someone went over the falls in maybe 5' waves, his shortboard flew trough the air and it's sharp nose did hit another paddling surfer right in the face, spearing his left cheek and tounge. Dude was bleeding like hell and blacked out while me and a friend were dragging him to the beach. Still in our 6/5 wetsuits and stuff we drove him to the next medical center and as far as I've been told a few weeks later this local guy needed 30 stitches.

Sure would not have been happened with a noseguard on the other guy's shortboard. Since this hair-raiser at least all my shortboards are equipped with noseguards - don't want to hurt myself or someone else. Those sharp noses are weapons, really...
