That's nice "cool" weather though, when you're coming from SoTex! It DOES get hot in San Jose, though...but it starts out cool and finishes cool. Just a few hours in between, where it gets hot. A night session would be killer. I'll  bet the full pipe is a trip at night with the lights on, as opposed to daylight....

If it did happen in San Jo. Within an hour you also have: Pot Hill, Roosevelt,( 15 minutes) Fremont will be open by then. Sunnyvale, Menlo Park, Scotts Valley and Santa Cruz.. There is more too.  Ripon is about 70 minutes from San Jo.
