Truck set up is a Slalom racers attempt to lower CofG and reduce rear steer, I’ve never seen someone do it like that but I get why they did. Nose of the deck is heavily bonked with only one half decent picture showing it. It’s reached its peak in price IMO.

This is definitely not a Hester model, its a Cutaway Slalom, I enquired with the seller to ask him how he got the Hester decals and told me that Alpine Sports were selling them at the time hence why he has a decal underneath as well. Maybe he had foresight at the time that Hester models have better resell value.
I reckon the guy is asking £550 which is way over its value, he should take his money and run at the current bid, trucks and deck have value but as for the unbranded wheels, supposedly Kryps, well, nobody are gonna touch those in my opinion. I believe Kryptonics threw nothing away back in the day, they must have flogged all the duff stuff at knock down prices and because demand was so high at the time most retailers would probably take what ever was out there from Kryptonics be it with CD marked or unbranded wheels.

Agree Joe. I do remember seeing unbranded Kryptonics being sold as well as those marked CD. Seller should definitely lower his reserve, I wouldn’t pay the price he has achieved.

Bloody hell!!! A thousand!!!! Some people haven't got an effing clue, Im laughing too mate. I actually told him that its not a Hester...I feel sorry for the suckers that are bidding for that deck if they really think they are getting a Hester. Only consolation are the 1st issue gold Gulwings and the extra bushings, they would fetch a fair few just on their own.

There is something going on for sure. It’s just not worth that. Also the high bidder has zero feedback.

FUCK A DUCK!!!! £650, thats mad!!! Its so obvious the seller is bumping up the bids but risks in buying the deck himself for being so greedy, hahahaha. You're right about the extra bushing, there not in a decent state.
Think I might get a Cutaway and stick a Hester decal on it and sell it, hahaha.

ended at £650 ,hopefully he was bidding it up himself to reach the magical £1000 lol i also told him it wasnt a hester but never even received a reply,i dont know how folk can just rip people off like that knowing full well that its not what its supposed to be,hopefully he will have to relist it and nobody will bid more than a couple of hundred now

Hahahaha, I was so hoping that he will end up winning the bid. Totally agree Punky, relisting he will get less bids. Yeah, another thing that pisses me off with some sellers is when they sell reissues as "vintage".
The is a listing that has me puzzled slightly:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fibreflex-Teamrider-Tracker-Trucks-and-Green-60mm-Kryptonics-Vintage/253936377752
The top decal appears to be black, maybe because of the light. Correct me if Im wrong but I can't remember transparent riser pads back then...also the bushing caps are not correct for Trackers, they're normally flat. Wheels, well, they could be reissues, hard tell unless the bearings are out. Seller told me it was bought in 1980. Also Ive never seen a vintage Teamrider with the grip right up to the edge like this one.

Yea, that's a 3rd or 4th generation Teamrider reissue from the mid 2000 aughts.  they did the extra layer and did the grip like that.  The sticker is also the larger reissue sticker with the white badge area.  Trucks, well his pix are interestingly misleading as he removes top washer for the close up, and the other picture angle is from straight on.  Hard to get a clean angle on the pivots, but those appear to be Classic Reissued Mids.  Wheels appear to be OG 2nd series.  They appear to have washer core and 2nd gen lettering.  Reissues have plastic cores with 2nd gen lettering.  Not 100% positive, but my $0.02.  So, maybe wheels are vintage, everything else is reissue.

Thanks Mike for your input, I was banking at least the deck was defo a reissue but the trucks and wheels I was scratching my head with. I didnt know that Tracker did reissues, how does it differ apart from having different caps and bushes? Apparently I requested her, yes the seller is a she, to put close up pics of trucks and to remove the bearing of a wheel which she has already done. Wheels are genuine, trucks have new coned shaped bushings and the cup shape caps. I asked her to do a pic of the top decal that she hasn't done.
