Oh, I picked up on that already, yes, very clever. Its the deception and not being truly honest that really hacks me off but I suppose that goes on a lot with other collectable artefacts, one has to be on the ball in this game.

Yea, we have some sharp eyes around this place.  Others can provide details as details on OG Trackers vs. what they call the Classic Reissues.  Basically, they used the same molds, but there are threads here detailing the color of the nylon used in bolts on the different generations of OF Trackers.  First series were fully threaded, etc.  But definitely reissue caps and bushings, even if the trucks turn out to be OG.  But overall, intentionally misleading and the pix were well organized to support the, at the very least, ambiguity.   This was not a mistake.  As for the deck, that was not an OG colorway for the bowtuff.  Again, sticker (size and color) and grip are consistent with reissues.  And not meaning the bad ass near OG reissues they did 2 or 3 years ago.  The ones I'm referring to started in 2002 or 03 and had 4 versions through about 2007 or 08.

As far as sharp eyes, I once tried to pawn this off as NOS, but guys here were all over it.

Wheels are original. Truck bushes were changed but the pivots on the hangers look like the big pivot in that crappy photo so could be original or Classic Reissue. Deck is a reissue.

Just as I thought initially, deck didnt have the normal signs of an OG and the bushes and caps are not the standard issue. I have seen some recent Teamrider reissues and i agree MikeInMD they do look stunning.
Curiosity more than anything else got to me so I popped the question to the seller when the board was bought, just testing the individual to see what kind of reply I might get, the response I got: "I have no idea I'm afraid I think it was about 1980?" I just laughed thinking we've got an Arthur Daley selling skateboards.

Oh, on the subject of reissues, I just spotted this new listing with another "dodgy" claim. I would straight away say its a reissue as OG Trackers never embossed their name under the hanger like this one. Can anyone shed light whether it is a reissue and if so when they were released?

Thanks Punky, sorry mate can you explain "extracks" to me please. Don't know weather that would mean special edition, rejects, late editions, etc. Cheers

As wider boards became the norm, Tracker came out with a model named ExTracks and then SixTracks. Fulls had a 7" axle and I believe the hangers were about 4 1/4".  ExTracks were about 7 3/4" axle with 5" hangers.  SixTracks were about an additional inch for axle and hanger.

Definitely original trucks. Note that the kingpins are not changeable as they are cast in to the baseplate.
