This may have been touched on before and I will move it if it has ben, but a little while ago I came across a picture of my first car. It was a 1969 Mustang Coupe 302 with a 3 speed on the floor.  I had the car from 1983 to 1990.

hahaha Wade they did not want to work on a classic muscle car but were content with busted oil pans and sheared off bumpers.

they hated it all and yes I had some problems with being too low but never anything that disastrous     I did run into a stray muffler on the road once and it hit my front cross member and sent the muffler straight into the sidewall.....    flat tire city.......     some dude I knew in a car club hit a dead dog on the highway and drug it for miles before dislodging it.......      as soon as I had my own brain I purchased this......    it was my favorite of them all......    of the ones that ran anyway        63' Biscayne 2 door with black on black wire knock offs

Nice Wade. My dad had a green 2 door 65 Impala we all thought was a fuddy duddy car. then he sold it to one of the Young Sailors in his squadron. That guy maged it out lifted the back and painted it Fire engine red.  Wow what a difference that made.

Most folks know the drill on this one.
Hit the thread, "1966 Mustang Convert Redo" for full details.
That being said, I still have my first car, and my mom bought it new.  It was beat when I got it, but it had a 289 and the top went down, what did I care?!

And now, undergoing its umptenth resto...
