Well, sort of. I got out and rode my skate today for the first time in 6 months or more. The back did'nt hurt too much, but I can't pump at all. I only fell once figuring that out. My left leg still has some residual nerve damage that makes it so I can't put any weight on it while its bent more than just a little bit. I managed to time my turns to where I could maintain enough speed to stay at or near the coping. It was my first ride on my quad 10 rider with my ultra minis with Ron's ceramics. HOLLY SHIT! I can't weight to try my black deaths, I'm just not ready for that kind of speed yet. I already know the quad 10 is my new #1 rider. I shortened the wheel base to 17 1/4". I am so stoked right now! I thought I might never ride again a few times, I'm a VERY lucky guy. I'm going to saver every ride like its the last ride from now on. I really appreciate all the support you guys gave me. Thanks everybody!

Cool! Take it slow. Do your Strenghtening exercises between sessions. I blew out my left shoulder a few years back. I thought I was done surfing and doing skate moves like berts, but after taking time to heal and some rehab I was back doing it all. I still have to do the shoulder strengthing exercises though.

Rattown - Yeah I know how the shoulder can screw you up.  My little bro was a great surfer.  He was ranked 17 one year in the nssa.  He screwed up his shoulder snow boarding,  now it goes out of socket all the time.  He can't be in water at all,  it just floats out.  He can skate,  and thats about it.  It comes out about once a session,  but that won't stop him!  He freaked out some guy at Etnies when he poped it back in and continued on his run.  Dude tripped out!

Thanks Guys.  Its good to be back!

HJ - Thanks man!

BigPapa - Just as soon as I can afford it.  I'm still not back to work yet,  so I'm still scratching by on disability.  Since skating the other day my left leg is killing me,  and I still can't have any weight on it while its bent at the knee.  Its the muscles in my thigh.  I guess the nerve between the 3rd and 4th vertebrae gives signal to those muscles,  but its not doing the job.  That is what is keeping me from work.  I install home theater and satellite systems which means climbing ladders and walking roofs.  I work alone also,  so I'm pretty well useless at my job right now.  My next Dr. appointment is June 29th,  so who knows.
