It finally got warm enough here for a couple of days where I could go out and cruise.  I wanted to try out the Quicksilver I set up with reissue Tracker fulls, reissue Tunnel Rocks and 1/4" risers but got major wheel bite.  Does anyone have a set of the 1/2" translucent red urethane riser pads to sell?  I like the Road Rider ones, but any will do.

Hey Chris - Let me dig around a bit.  I think I may have some 1/2" Rad Pads.  I know I have some NOS red translucent 1/4" Rad Pads, as well as the slalom Wayne Brown angled risers - just not sure if the 1/2" are unattached.  I'll get back with you in a day or two and see if you're still looking.

Sorry, blue translucent vintage risers, but no reds.   My 1/2" Rad Pads are set up on a vintage FibreFlex Steve Cathey model - deck is red and has Road Rider 4s on it, so can't free those up.  Good luck!

Thanks for checking Mike and for the offer Dave.  That Cathey setup sounds sweet.

Something will turn up on eBay eventually.  I just thought I'd check here first.  Now, I could use a single ACS baseplate for a Bennett hanger.  Anyone got one?

Reviving yet another old thread, I'm glad it is still possible to get thirteen hole 1/2" riser pads (in the UK at least) in translucent red (and other colours) brand new, these have been hijacked by the quad roller skaters: https://www.olisskateshop.co.uk/Ventronics-ventro/cheese-blocks
I've a set in green, white and translucent orange, they're kinda hard though, I've ordered some trans reds and I'll report back. They've got to be more convincing than the D-street risers.

OK, the "clear red" thirteen hole 1/2" risers came before the festivities, I didn't get a chance to post until now. They are made by Airwaves rather than Ventronics but both are OK, the former is slightly less solid, but still firm as hell.
As for the colour, think of slightly opaque strawberry jam rather than ruby red, you cannot see through them like the OG risers, that and they are a little on the small side, less pad hanging out the bottom of the baseplate. Conclusion: there is no modern substitute for ruby reds... mind you they have already found a home under 1987 Thunder freestyle trucks, they look better there.
The Ventronic green risers look spot on when compared to the early tracker coper ads though, the one with close-up shots of the coper in action, a small silver lining...
I'll post some pics when I get my camera back.
