So it looks like the Kryptonics reissue wheels are no longer in production.

Of course I did not stock up...I am hoping somebody here might have?

I am looking for a set of Blue or Yellow 65 mm or 70 mm wheels to complete my next rider.

NOTE: I have moved to Alaska but the shipping should be do-able with a Priority Mail box.

PM me if you have a set (or two?) you're willing to part with, thanks!

Take a Look at the Facebook Kryptonics Wheels And Boards Collectors Group...I've seen some for sale recently.

Yes, it seems like they're no longer in production. There are some stores here in Europe that still have some new Star Trac stock left. The price isn't the very best but considering they are new and becoming scarce it would be an option to weigh. Have a friend in GA that bought 5 sets from this store and he got a deal. The other hassle would be the shipping to the U.S. - probably around 25USD or more. I live in Spain and I have managed to find some pretty good deals in Wallapop - people just getting rid of stuff.

Here's the store's link and they are located in Paris, France: https://www.snowbeach.com/snowbeach/skateboards/wheels/skateshop/manufacturer-kryptonics.html

Regarding yellow wheels you may find such in the U.K. (these dudes charge in sterling pounds) and it can be a bit expensive + shipping of course.

Hope this info helps.

You’ve been sleeping Grommet, the deal and production ended over 6 months ago. The chancers stocked up on what was left out there so they could whore them out at silly profit. The sets referred to on Faceache are going for $75 a set. I’ve seen people asking more for them.

Is there anything to skate in Alaska?

Yeah, the past six months was consumed with the move from Texas so I wasn't spending much time googling fun stuff...did manage a few 'farewell' sessions though.

There was a skate shop over in Ketchikan  (okay, "skate shop" is a stretch...it was a shelf in the corner of a boat shop) that is now gone.  Ketchikan has a nice little skatepark when it isn't raining...

I found  a shop in Canada that still has kryptonics but they won't ship out of Canada (understandable, I have dealt with that paperwork)

Sooo...I'm looking at other options.  Have some of "These Wheels" coming and maybe upping my stash of Alligators.

The pavement here is fairly rough and gotta have the big soft wheels!

Anybody who stumbles across this thread in the next 18 years, assume i'm still looking thanks!  [cool][smile]

And you don’t know how true that is. Amazing how old posts are still dragged kicking and screaming back in to life after several years dormant on page 59 of the BST.

If you are still stuck and need something from Europe shout, but be quick the UK might eventually leave if our idiot politicians can get their bloody act together and then fuck knows where we will be.

My wife's family is in Ketchikan for the past dozen years or so.  She's been wanting to move up here and this year the job offer came along (she is a teacher).  So, here we are in sunny (sometimes) and rainy (much of the time) SouthEast Alaska!

I will post some pics soon--it is truly beautiful here!  Mountains AND water! Skies bigger than what we had in Texas, too!  And actual totem poles!
