Am thinking of going down to 149's,  I run these on my long pig and like it

Just got my hands on some clear grip so am gonna have a go at some pimping

My first Z-13.  I love this board!  Got this from Luis, and the Pumpkin Dub Cons from MdavidZ.  Thanks Bros!  215's and soft slanted risers, so my usual fare.  I used BF II grip on top and as you can see, only needed minor trimming... Cant wait to ride it!

Frank:

Do you run this setup in skateparks & bowls? If so, how do you like the Randalls in that use?

hey,
Try the Destructo High/Wides(equivalent width to Indy 169's)
on the Z-13...an excellent combination. See my comments
regarding the Destructos in "The Pit"...I think I posted about
them last week.

Chris:

Thanks for the info.  I'm actually looking ahead to the 44" Super Pig.  How do you think those trucks would do on that longboard, as compared to the Randals?

hey Z,
I think the Destructos would ROCK a Long Pig or a Big Pig.
They aren't quite as high as Randalls but, you won't need
to use much riser(1/4") if you are only running Dubs or Dragons.
Go to a bigger wheel, need more riser.
Again, see my comments about bushings and other aspects
of the Destructos in my review in "The Pit".

Thanks again for the info.  I had seen your other post on the Destructo's.  Your homework on trucks is impressive.

When this board's available, I'm going to set it up with Mellow Yellow Dub Cons (thanks SDO).  The Destructo's sound like just the ticket to make this thing a carving/ditch/cruising machine!

Z-13 gen II - My unsigned one has very little rocker or concave.  It's damn near flat.  I set it up with my last set of Webbs, mini-dubs (blue for now), Rons steel bearrings and slightly angled Tracker risers (3/8"-1/2").

This set of Webbs came with different bushings than the others I've had.  They're light yellow and really hard and bouncy.  So far it feels pretty good. I used the angled risers to find out if more rocker would'e made a difference.  It turns and pumps like a much shorter board.   Just waitin' for Bay City to open again.

Set up the Chief today. Love the slightly tweaked shaped from the old Z13. It definitely feels lighter.

Stage ?? 169 Old School Indys with Khiros

Mellow Yellows dyed to Sticky Icky Green with RR bearings

Adding a Powell 9" Yellow Tailbone

Custom Shaka BDS Grip
