Attached is from national geographic. A mainstream environmental concern.
Very alarming, long read, but little more indepth as to the true science of this terrible event....
http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/energy/2013/08/130807-fukushima-radioactive-water-leak/

Bottomline, Japan Nuke accident could become a world wide catastrophic event and world/USA governments
seem more concerned about Egypt (serious event as well), than helping/getting Japan to solve this nuke disaster. IMO....

Thanks for posting Wes, I was unware it was still leaking this much into the ocean.
I thought they were hiding the air contamination, now its just as bad in the ocean........

You know they have hidden the true health impact of the gulf coast oil spill and where those
fish/crustation harvests end up. Probably Costco/mega food stores to our dinner plates....

Huge difference in opinion on the safety of seafood in the two articles.  What to believe?  A huge problem no matter how you slice it.  I couldn't understand why this didn't remain a story in the news.  Not long after the tsunami, they stopped talking about it, when it was obvious they would not be able to stop the leaking for a long time, if at all.

Wes, you may need to give up that sushi or, at least, invest in a good Geiger counter.

Amazing how the media just kept it's mouth shut about this disaster no big deal just a little misinformation, where's Green Peace or the Sierra Club. Yes our brightest minds and best resources should have been all over this cause if it happened once it could happen again with different circumstances.

We've been eating fish out of Jersey for years and it hasn't killed too many of us yet......you'll be fine with lightly nuked ones.

I'm doomed anyway. We used to poke the asbestos insulation on the pipes in the basement and run through the "snow" when we were little. We'd be covered in it.

http://www.nytimes.com/2013/08/21/world/asia/300-tons-of-contaminated-water-leak-from-japanese-nuclear-plant.html

But so far Egypt dominates....
Main reason? Suez Canal Egypt controls....
Important trading avenue & $$$ for USA and World....

Wes, thanks for posting this OG....
I suspected but had no idea of what was really happening...
