I was just going to set up a Flat Pig Murf deck I just got, and noticed its drilled with the old style truck pattern. Were the 5 plus year old BDS decks all done this way? Its new truck time I guess. |

Yes all the early Flat Pigs (Murf & Gashead) were drilled with the oldschool bolt pattern. Also the DT Fest 8.5" flat pigs decks. Some of the early Gashead Longboards/38 Specials were doubled drilled for both bolt patterns

Thanks for the info. I decided to just drill the baseplates and call it good. Things just don't always go as planned. |

I'm flabbergasted again...... is this the only thread for "Murf" setups?????? this was the first BDS deck I ever got, I remember taking it to Vegas at X-Mas time and riding it with stage 9's and hard ass pumpkin dubs, it was way different than anything I had ever ridden but it was fun and it got me going again even though the non-concave was something I never really got used to...... this thing has been setup up a million different ways since then, just recently scored a mis matched set of Trackers, extrack and fulltrack, got to use one of my early copers, red dragons and 80's risers, this is definitely the coolest this thing has ever looked I keep staring at it

yessir! sonic red dragons look good on almost any deck! very similar to the first Shogo soft pours...... and a lot easier to find! I wish there would have been some sonic red mini dubs though |

Nice set-up. My Murf was my third BDS deck over seven years ago. It's still one my favorite designs. I liked it so much back then I bought two of them!! |
